NCC


The National Cadet Corps (NCC) came into being by an Act of the Parliament Act No. XXXI of 1948 designated 'The National Cadet Corps Act 1948'. The National Cadet Corps is Youth Wing of Armed Forces with its Headquarters at New Delhi. It is engaged in grooming the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic citizens. The Cadets are given basic military training in small arms and parades. The officers and cadets have no liability for active military service once they complete their course. Trained NCC cadets get preference in direct recruitment in defence services. NCC training is imparted under the leadership of NCC officer Dr. Pushyamitra Mishra. Students wishing to get enrolled themselves can contact NCC officer of the college.
